Where It Began
"Craft is not a skill you learn in a classroom. It's built slowly — project by project, hand by hand, year by year."
Prior to moving to America and establishing ProBuild LA, we began all the way back in 2002 in Ukraine — designing and building custom kitchens and closets across Russia, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia and Belarus. For almost exactly 20 years we worked on residential and commercial projects of all sizes, from small apartmetns, to larger condos, to weekend "dachas", to multi-family dwellings.
Unfortunately, the regional upheaval in 2022 forced us to make a difficult decision: either leave the craft we had spent two decades perfecting, or carry it somewhere it could continue to thrive. We chose the latter — and ProBuild LA was born.
Our Journey
The first workshop and office opens. Small team, big ambitions — designing custom cabinetry for residential clients in Ukraine and Russia, building everything on-site by hand.
Work expands across Poland and Moldova. The team grows. Hundreds of kitchens and closet systems installed — each one an exercise in precision, client communication, and lasting quality.
Sudden regional and political upheaval that turned into immigration and a new beginning in the United States of America. ProFix LA is born - a handyman service that opened doors to other areas of home improvement, built a new customer base, and paved forward toward ProBuild LA .
Our workshop opens in Chatsworth, California. Same hands. Same standards. Now serving Los Angeles — everything designed in-house and installed by experienced professionals.

Today
Everything ProBuild LA produces is made right here in Chatsworth. We don't subcontract fabrication, we don't outsource installation, and we don't use prefabricated box cabinets dressed up with custom fronts. Every piece is built to spec in our own shop, by our own team.
